Lake County Youth Services Inc Dba YouthONE, establised in 2008 is an EXEMPT youth center, (not a drop in or walk in child or day care center) servicing the community as a 501(c)(3) tax exempt public benefits non-profit charitable youth organization. Our corporate EIN tax ID number is #46-1461488. Lake County Youth Services Inc. Dba YouthONE; is an all inclusive, non-judgmental youth organization and NOT affiliated with any government agency, religious, faith based, church, youth group, political lobbing or special interest organization.
Lake County Youth Services Inc Dba YouthONE invites screened adults with no criminal history and youth from all faith beliefs, political parties, sexual orientation, abilities, races and/or federally protected classes to apply. We are committed to working closely with community leaders including but not limited to ministry leaders, youth pastors, law enforcement, coaches, athletic programs, youth advocates, teachers, churches, counselors, schools, youth organizations, parents, guardians, caregivers, and others to compliment the seemly difficult challenges and overlapping roles of raising a child in today's new age environment. YouthOne is committed to participating in a supporting role to encourage children to reach their full potential.
YouthOne mentors are committed to establishing clear boundaries acceptable to each parent, guardian and caregiver; to empower, embrace and assist your child in transitioning their lives. We strongly support, develop, and train caring adults to share their time and hearts with our students to model characteristics that exemplify that of a respected role model. YouthOne serves a diverse population of approximately 9,000 Lake County youth ranging in ages* from 8 to 18 yrs old who have completed grades 2nd* through 12th* grade. Any student who turns 18 yrs of age that is still enrolled and attending High school must complete the volunteer application and all screening/background requirements to continue to participate in the program. We require all student members of YouthOne to attend our monthly parent/child informational orientation by appointment only.
Lake County Youth Services Inc. Dba YouthOne relies solely on the generosity of private donor contributions, merchants, foundations, grants and generous local community supporters. We request that any parents, guardians, and caregivers support our mission through becoming a financial donor or volunteer; to pay forward another youth that are in need. YouthOne is 100% Yoth Led and committed to loving, caring and supporting all our youth regardless of their circumstances including but not limited to those battling addiction, depression, socially isolation, anger, homelessness, probation, home schooled, suspended or just experiencing home, school or life challenges that need our teams attention.
YouthOne is committed to bringing our youth culture together as one. YouthOne is committed to to build a stronger community through collaboration with local businesses, community leaders, mature adult mentors, peer youth leaders and students 8 yrs to 18 yrs old who have completed the 2nd through 12th grade. All participation in track, off-site excursions and trip are subject to Executive Directors approval.
